Process :.
What are the steps involved?
1)When you have decided on a property, a booking
form is completed, a contract is prepared. The
contract used by us will usually be bi-lingual.
We advise you to employ a solicitor at this
stage.
Contracts are then completed and the deposit
paid. (Usually 10%).
2)Application is then made to the TAPU Office
The TAPU Office will ask for:
Title deed or document showing the property’s
exact location (Plot or parcel number)
Passport and/or ID card of buyer
Three recent photos of buyer sized 4cm by 6cm
3)The TAPU Office will then do a search to
check that the property is not within a
forbidden zone (military, strategic and security
zones. This can take a considerable time.
4)After military clearance has been obtained you
pay the rest of the Money and are given the
official ownership document called the title
deeds (TAPU).
